Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive management experience in the retail industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of retail management, labor management standards, inventory control, team development, and profit maximization. The General Manager will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high standards of quality and safety, and fostering a positive environment for staff and guests alike.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of operations, including opening procedures, closing procedures, machine maintenance, and staff supervision.
Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing costs to ensure profitability.
Supervise daily maintenance and cleaning activities.
Manage POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
Train, develop, and motivate staff to achieve high performance standards in customer service and product quality.
Handle staffing responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, scheduling shifts, and conducting performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
Manage budgets, control expenses, and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
Foster a hospitality-focused environment that emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Proven management experience in retail operations.
Proficiency in MS office programs such as outlook, excel, and word.
Experience with POS systems.
Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervising or team management roles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and conduct interviews confidently.
Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and oversee inventory control processes.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Previous assistant manager or management experience is highly desirable.
