Full Job Description

Job Overview:

We are a small association management company looking for an accounts receivable associate to join our growing team. The accounts receivable associate will work closely with the office accounting staff to master foundational duties and take on additional responsibilities as needed with position growth. Strong candidates will have excellent attention to detail and strong oral and written communication skills, and they will be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel, Outlook, and office equipment.

Description

Complete regular accounting tasks such as accounts receivable and account research. Training will be provided for each type of task within our software.

Duties

Post check payments into our database with accuracy
Deposit payments to banks via check scanner or manually at local bank branches.
Review deposits for accuracy each day
Research any unapplied payments and correspond with clients for any further information required
Answer client account questions and provide superior customer service
Maintain and uphold proper electronic filing procedures for bank deposits
Other administrative tasks as needed

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to stay on top of and work ahead of deadlines
