About us

Quality control is paramount at Atlantic. We are state licensed in Florida and Georgia as an intrusion and fire system installer and actively involved in CEDIA–the professional trade association for the audio/video market. We are fully insured and operate under a drug-free workplace policy. Education and certification are continual in every phase of technology we offer.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Fire and Security Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will appreciate the opportunity to work for a stable company that recognizes the value of each individual and their contribution to the team effort. A high degree of professionalism is required to join our team. Must be able to multi-task to meet customer expectations in the field and communicate daily with tasks accomplished to both the Company and the customer. We utilize all of our field technicians as front-line communicators to our customers and effective verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Candidate must be self-motivated, not require full time management and be well-organized. Workflow is important to us as we must navigate our customers’ needs on a daily basis so strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must. Finally, you must be able to communicate electronically on a daily basis. Preferred to have FASA/BASA Alarm Certification and/or certifications of the manufacturers below.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Intrusion Alarm, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Video Surveillance and cabling experience are REQUIRED.

Candidate should be skilled in the installation, testing, maintenance and inspection of all components associated with low voltage security systems. Candidate shall have the ability to use test equipment; diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform new installations with minimal supervision on your own. Candidate shall have the ability to install, test and configure systems such as Honeywell/Vista Series panels, DSC and Alarm.com; Firelite/Silent Knight and Starlight Fire alarm systems; IP video surveillance cameras; commercial access control systems such as Kantech, and Atrium.

This position is located throughout the North Florida/South Georgia Area.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

*Install and program new fire alarm, security systems, CCTV & Access Control
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues with all the above
*Conduct routine preventative maintenance as well as test and inspect on fire alarm systems
*Monitor inventory of service parts on your vehicle
*Carrying/using ladders
*Run wire for any of our jobs
*Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

*Must be reliable and punctual at all times

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
