Job Overview
The Assistant Executive Housekeeper supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations across all Club and Plaza facilities. This role combines leadership, training, quality control, and hands-on housekeeping responsibilities to ensure Miramont’s high standards of cleanliness, presentation and member satisfaction are consistently met.

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing training, coaching, and onboarding for housekeeping staff to ensure consistent service quality across multiple facilities, including the Clubhouse, offices, 15 guest rooms, member amenities, staff facilities, a multi-story office building, and the residence.
- Monitoring daily housekeeping performance, identify service gaps, and step in to cover shifts as operational needs arise.
- Assists the Executive Housekeeper with scheduling, payroll review, and departmental communications to improve efficiency and cost control.
- Acting as a liaison between Housekeeping, Golf Operations, and Clubhouse Management to coordinate coverage and uphold member service standards.
- Supporting inventory control and ordering of supplies for Clubhouse and Golf Level operations with a focus on cost efficiency.
- Maintaining a visible leadership presence on the floor, modeling professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Serves as acting department supervisor in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.
- Provides first-line coverage for scheduling gaps due to call-outs, illness, or unforeseen absences.
- Conducts audits of public areas, meeting spaces, restrooms, guest rooms, offices, and staff areas to ensure cleaning standards are met or exceeded.
- Performs multiple weekly visits to American Momentum Plaza to support housekeeping operations and monitor performance.
- Monitors supply levels and replenish as necessary to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Maintains clean, organized carts, equipment, storage rooms, and supply areas.
- Trains and audits team members on proper laundry operations, including sorting, folding, washing, drying, and pressing linens.
- Cleans assigned areas efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Maintains a friendly, approachable demeanor with members, guests, and staff.
- Upholds a clean and professional personal appearance.
- Uses all Club equipment and property responsibly to prevent unnecessary damage.
- Documents mechanical, electrical, or facility deficiencies and report them to the Executive Housekeeper.
- Properly labels and submits all lost-and-found items to the concierge or receptionist.
- Understands and performs basic floor technician duties as needed.
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper chemical usage and cleaning equipment.
- Identifies equipment malfunctions to maintain safety for staff and guests.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper and/or Clubhouse Manager.
In addition to supervisory duties, this role assumes Amenity Housekeeping responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Maintains Club cleanliness standards by using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure all areas are spotless and well stocked.
- Cleans public and office areas including restrooms, sitting areas, dining areas, suites, meeting spaces, break rooms, workrooms, and offices.
- Performs laundry operations including sorting, folding, loading and unloading washers and dryers, and pressing linens.
- Keeps carts, equipment, storage rooms, and supplies organized, stocked, and sanitary.
- Maintains a friendly and professional demeanor with members, guests, and team members at all times.
- Handles all equipment and property with care to ensure longevity and functionality.
- Documents and reports any mechanical or electrical deficiencies to the Director of Housekeeping.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of progressive experience in a hotel, private club, or commercial cleaning environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to serve others.
- Highly motivated with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work 45+ hours per week.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, blackout days and during large Club events as required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work 45+ hours per week.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders (up to 12 ft), bend, stoop, kneel, and use hands for cleaning tasks.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in moderate noise environments and variable indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
