Full Time - Prospective Student Recruiter
The Blinn College District is searching for a Full Time - Prospective Student Recruiter at our Bryan Campus.

Job Summary
Represents and recruits for Blinn College by corresponding with prospective students, their families, and high school officials; attends college night/day programs, maintains relationships with the appropriate faculty and staff including transfer pathway representatives to provide the most accurate information to prospective students. Assist with on-campus or off-campus prospective student recruitment events and campus tours.
Principal Accountabilities

Makes presentations and recruiting visits for the College by communicating with prospective students, their parents, and high school officials about the College, the admissions process and available programs and degree plans. Provides general advising regarding admissions process, TSI, financial aid, endowed scholarships, campus housing, core curriculum requirements, transfer equivalents and all associated application processes necessary for enrollment.

Attends College Night/Day events inside and outside the service area and collects student data at each event to recruit prospective students to the college.

Collaborates in developing, coordinating and conducting on and off campus events and activities for prospective students.

Communicates with the admissions, financial aid, housing, advising, business offices and other necessary faculty and staff to provide the most accurate information to prospective students.

Collaborates with the Prospective Student Relations department and transfer pathway partnerships to develop and update all recruitment materials.

Assists in developing and maintaining the Prospective Student Relations’ webpages.

Serves as a liaison with all departments, faculty, and staff to coordinate Prospective Student and College Relations recruitment efforts and schedule events.

Record, track and monitor the information collected from students, faculty, and staff who participate in various recruitment events and activities.

Maintain record of budgeted expenditures.

Assist with Blinn College campus tours.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications

Associate’s degree
- Computer proficiency in software such as: Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, presentation software.
- Customer Service experience
- Valid Driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working in higher education or K-12
- Experience providing professional customer service support ensuring a welcoming environment.

This is a 12 month, benefits-eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full-time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits. Yearly leave time includes:
96 hours vacation
40 hours discretionary
