Full Job Description

Unrivaled Nutrition + Training is looking for the right personal trainer to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is professional, coachable, reliable, comfortable communicating with clients, and willing to follow the systems that allow our facility to run at a high standard.

This is a staff coaching position inside an established private training facility. We provide the environment, structure, systems, and client opportunities. You bring coaching ability, professionalism, consistency, and a willingness to represent the Unrivaled standard every time you step on the floor.

Unrivaled Nutrition + Training is a private training facility in Hellertown, PA offering personal training, nutrition coaching, customized training programs, small group personal training, and open gym memberships.

Our clients are typically busy adults who want strength, structure, accountability, body composition change, and a better training experience than they would receive in a large commercial gym.

We are clean, organized, professional, and results-driven. We care about the details, and we expect our coaches to care about them too.

You do not need to be a pushy salesperson, but you do need to be comfortable having honest conversations with clients about their goals, obstacles, commitment level, and next steps.

You must also be willing to use our systems, including Trainerize, Kilo, client notes, scheduling tools, and internal processes.

Responsibilities

Coach 1-on-1 personal training sessions
Coach small group personal training sessions when needed
Follow and/or create structured training programs
Use Trainerize to track workouts, programs, client notes, and progress
Use Kilo for scheduling, attendance, and client management
Deliver safe, organized, and professional training sessions
Provide clear coaching cues, regressions, and progressions
Help clients improve strength, mobility, confidence, consistency, and body composition
Communicate professionally with clients before, during, and after sessions
Support consultations, assessments, and client onboarding when needed
Help clients stay accountable to their schedule, training, and goals
Work with beginners, general population clients, and clients with limitations or previous injuries
Maintain a clean, organized training floor
Follow Unrivaled systems, standards, and expectations
Communicate client concerns, progress, and opportunities with ownership
Represent Unrivaled professionally at all times

Required Qualifications

Personal training certification
Prior personal training experience
CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
Strong understanding of exercise technique
Ability to coach strength training safely and effectively
Ability to progress and regress exercises based on the client
Professional communication skills
Comfort speaking with clients about goals, expectations, and next steps
Willingness to follow gym systems and procedures
Willingness to use Trainerize, Kilo, and other coaching tools
Reliable transportation
Strong punctuality and attendance
Ability to work with adults of various fitness levels

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of personal training experience
Experience with Trainerize, Kilo, SECA, or similar systems
Experience coaching fat loss, strength training, muscle building, and general fitness clients
Experience in a private, semi-private, or small group training environment
Experience with consultations, assessments, or personal training sales
Nutrition coaching background or strong nutrition fundamentals
Experience working with adults ages 30–65
Strong ability to build rapport and retain clients

Does not want to use coaching software

Schedule

Schedule will be based on client demand, trainer availability, and business needs.

Morning, afternoon, evening, and Saturday availability may be needed.

Compensation

Pay will be based on experience, availability, responsibilities, and overall fit.

Compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
