Job Overview

Are you ready to bring excitement, suspense, and a touch of fright to life? We are seeking energetic and dynamic Scare Actors to transform our haunted attractions into unforgettable experiences! As a key member of our entertainment team, you will perform in immersive scare zones, interact with guests of all ages, and deliver thrilling performances that keep visitors on the edge of their seats. Your creativity, enthusiasm, and ability to engage audiences will be vital in creating a lively, fun-filled atmosphere that leaves guests eager to return year after year. This paid position offers a unique opportunity to showcase your acting talents while providing memorable entertainment for thrill-seekers and families alike.

Duties

Perform as a convincing and engaging character within themed scare zones or haunted attractions, utilizing voice acting, physical movement, and facial expressions.
Interact with guests through crowd engagement, improvisation, and scripted scenes to heighten the immersive experience.
Use microphones and other sound equipment to amplify your performance when necessary, ensuring clear communication with guests.
Maintain high energy levels throughout your shift while adhering to safety protocols and costume guidelines.
Collaborate with fellow performers and staff to coordinate scenes, timing, and special effects for maximum impact.
Assist with costume changes, makeup touch-ups, and set adjustments as needed to keep the attraction running smoothly.
Provide feedback on guest reactions and performance effectiveness to help improve overall show quality.

Experience

Prior experience in acting, theatre production, or live performance is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences including children and adults.
Experience working with children or in family-friendly environments is a plus.
Skills in public speaking or voice acting enhance your ability to captivate guests.
Familiarity with live streaming or studio recording can be beneficial for certain interactive elements.
Background in dance or film production performance adds flair to physical movements and character portrayal.
Previous modeling or theatre experience helps develop confident stage presence and audience engagement skills.
