Outside Sales Representative – Storage & Material Handling Solutions

Position Summary

Develop new business opportunities by helping manufacturers, industrial companies, warehouses, and distribution organizations solve operational challenges through turnkey storage and material handling solutions. Build trusted customer relationships by performing facility assessments, conceptual space planning, estimating, project coordination, and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop new business while expanding existing customer relationships.

· Conduct facility assessments, measurements, and workflow evaluations.

· Develop conceptual layouts using AutoCAD or similar software.

· Prepare proposals, estimates, presentations, and project recommendations.

· Coordinate projects from concept through installation.

· Keep CRM, forecasts, and sales pipeline.

· Collaborate with Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Project Management.

Qualifications

· Minimum two years of successful B2B outside sales experience.

· Experience selling capital equipment, industrial products, storage systems, material handling equipment, or engineered solutions.

· AutoCAD or similar CAD software experience preferred.

· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and CRM software.

· Ability to envision facility layouts and space redesign opportunities.

· Ability to perform field measurements and sketch layouts.

· Proved strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction.

· Self-directed with minimal supervision.

· Willingness to travel throughout Western New York.

· Excellent problem-solving ability under pressure.

· High accountability, integrity, and sound judgment.

· Cheerful outlook, professional demeanor, and collaborative mindset.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Compensation & Benefits

· Competitive base salary equal with experience.

· Base Salary $60-75K + commission for total potential compensation of $100 - $150K for successful performers.
