Full Job Description

Advanced Injection Mold Technician (Level 3+) (Nylon, Poly Pro, TPV)

Must have experience in full process from mold setup to troubleshooting and production support.
We are not training for this role.
Must have full knowledge of mold technician duties at an advanced level.
Must be available 6 days per week, 12 hours per day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

NOT an entry-level / trainee appropriate role - Must have advanced experience.
FULL CYCLE CHANGEOVER TECH: Remove and set up: Tear down, set up, troubleshoot, calibrate, and work at an advanced level of mechanical knowledge.

Payrate:

60 - 72 hours per week, Monday - Saturday, must have full availability.
$30.75/hr+ OVERTIME, (Ongoing: 12 hour shifts).
1 Opening on (A.) Shift: Monday - Saturday, 3:00pm-finish, 12+ hours per day **(60-72 hours week).
1 Opening on (B.) Shift: Monday - Saturday, 11:00pm - finish, 12+ hours per day **(60-72 hours week).

Specific Details:

This position plays a critical role in process control, quality assurance, start-ups, changeovers, and operator support in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Demonstrate resin experience with Nylon, Poly Pro, TPV, and other comparable materials
Work with Class A show surfaces and critical part surfaces
Apply prior experience
Interpret and work from technical drawings with accuracy
Perform complete mold tear-downs and repairs
Perform and direct mold and material change processes
Ensure mold setup, changeovers, and housekeeping standards are achieved
Support new job start-ups and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper performance
Ensure molding machines and supporting systems are set to correct parameters and operating toward production goals
Verify process parameters and implement changes, when appropriate, to improve cycle times
Review and inspect machines daily for maintenance issues and report findings to the Maintenance Department
Train, monitor, and coach machine operators to ensure proper procedures are followed.

Due to the nature of the demand of this role, we require a letter of recommendation from an Injection Molding Tech role. Do you have one?
• This is an end-to-end position. Take down and set up molds (switch out), process the machine, troubleshoot issues, and work on mechanical issues. Summarize your experience in this process.
