Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and dual registration in Echo and Vascular for an outpatient system-wide float pool role.

Details

Outpatient setting with centers open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with variable start times
Float pool position covering multiple campuses including Eden, Burlington, Magnolia, MC HP, and DB
Works independently without additional staff support
Adult patient population
1:1 patient ratio
Performs abdominal aorta, aorta, arterial graft studies, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial and venous, M-mode, renal artery duplex, transcranial Doppler, and upper extremity arterial and venous studies
Uses PACS and Philips equipment
EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience required
First-time travelers will not be considered
Must be registered in both Echo and Vascular; candidates with RVS certification and Echo experience will also be considered
Must be registered through ARDMS or CCI as either RDCS and RVT, or RCS and RVS
License required if applicable
Adult patient care experience required
EPIC EMR experience required
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance with two attempts allowed

Additional Information

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and adhere to a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
Compliance must be completed by 12 Noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date
May float to any campus within the health system as needed
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates within this radius will be considered
RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests will be accepted
Third-party education verification is required
No open background check cases permitted
Current driver's license required to verify address
