Full Job Description

Job Summary:

The Synthetic Grass Specialist plays a key role in installing high-quality synthetic grass across various residential and commercial projects. We are looking for candidates who will bring energy, dedication, and a strong sense of teamwork to the ForeverLawn Chicago family. Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare the job site, ensuring the team has what it needs to efficiently complete each project, including leveling, grading, and ensuring proper drainage

Install synthetic grass, including cutting, seaming, and securing to the base, working collaboratively with team members to ensure top-quality results

Manage and transport materials and equipment to and from job sites, helping others as needed to keep things running smoothly

Ensure the finished installation meets both quality standards and customer specifications

Perform repairs and maintenance on synthetic grass installations as needed, with a focus on working together to find solutions

Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, fostering a culture of care and responsibility to protect all team members

Promote a culture of trust, respect, open communication, and camaraderie among team members

Represent ForeverLawn Chicago positively in all interactions with both customers and team members, upholding our family-oriented culture

Collaborate with the team to complete jobs efficiently and effectively, ensuring that everyone’s strengths are utilized

Adapt to changing priorities as each install varies, supporting one another through each unique challenge

Requirements:

Previous experience in synthetic grass, construction, landscapes, hardscapes, or related fields is preferred, but a willingness to learn and collaborate is just as important

Ability to interpret Architectural and site drawings related to projects

Experience with operating key equipment, machinery, and tools, but more importantly, a commitment to working alongside the team to get the job done right

High school diploma or industry-related certifications, with a passion for growing within a company that values family and professional development

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with the understanding that team travel to job sites is part of the role

Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions, with the support of your team to ensure everyone’s success

Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, ensuring harmonious interactions with clients and team members alike

Working Conditions*:

Full-time position (50-60 hours/week) during peak season (April - November), where we work together as a team to meet our goals

Responsible for maintaining and operating synthetic grass installation equipment, and ensuring that the team has the tools they need for success

Regular travel with the implementation team to and from job sites, where camaraderie and teamwork are a core part of our daily operations

Compensation & Benefits:

Starting Pay Range: $18-25 / hour, commensurate with experience and other qualifications

Prevailing Wage pay range: $65-80 / hour based on job and demonstrated effort

Paid Time Off – 1 hour for every 40 hours worked per calendar year, additional available based on time with company

Company transportation provided to and from job sites
