Full Job Description

Mid-Level Software Developer

We are seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer with experience in enterprise application development, the ability to work with existing systems, and a strong interest in contributing to the evolution of our technology solutions.

The selected candidate will collaborate in the maintenance, enhancement, and development of applications built primarily with ASP.NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server, and Git, working alongside the team to deliver secure, efficient, and maintainable solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core.
Analyze existing systems and implement improvements safely and effectively.
Design, create, and optimize queries, stored procedures, and database structures in Microsoft SQL Server.
Develop and integrate REST APIs.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported by users.
Participate in code reviews and quality assurance activities.
Use Git for version control and collaborative development.
Document features, technical changes, and important development decisions.
Participate in task planning, estimation, and progress tracking.
Apply best practices related to security, performance, and maintainability.
Responsibly utilize modern tools, including artificial intelligence assistants, to support software development and documentation.

Requirements

2 to 5 years of experience in software development or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, and MVC or Web API.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL.
Experience using Git in collaborative development environments.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience developing or consuming REST APIs.
Understanding of object-oriented programming and separation of responsibilities.
Ability to read, understand, and modify existing code.
Basic knowledge of authentication, authorization, and security in web applications.
Experience identifying and resolving technical issues.
Ability to organize tasks and work with a reasonable level of independence.
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with other team members.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Entity Framework Core, Dapper, or similar data-access technologies.
Knowledge of LINQ, dependency injection, and asynchronous programming.
Experience with unit and integration testing.
Knowledge of Docker and basic CI/CD concepts.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or another cloud platform.
Experience with React, Angular, Vue, or another modern frontend framework.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of Clean Architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience working with enterprise applications or internal business systems.
