Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and learn to program CNC lathes and mills to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement will be essential to ensure efficient production and continuous improvement. Duties

Operate CNC lathe and or milling machines, primarily Fanuc-controlled systems, to produce metal parts with high precision.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate machining.
Learn to program our CNC machines using Manual Guide I programming software, adjusting parameters for optimal performance and quality.
Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Use hand tools and power tools for tooling changes, adjustments, and minor repairs as needed.
Apply lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.

Requirements

Experience operating CNC lathes and or mills, especially Fanuc-controlled machines.
Solid knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and mechanical drawing interpretation.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.
Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances required for machining operations.
Mechanical knowledge of tooling selection, fixture setup, and machine maintenance routines.
Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination; capable of working safely with power tools and hand tools.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
