At Creekside Veterinary Hospital, we believe that pets are family. We are a locally owned and operated full service veterinary hospital in a convenient and easily accessible location. We have been open for 2 years and are growing. We are seeking team members that are eager to grow, see Veterinary Medicine as a career, and want to help pets, people, and their teammates have More Good Days . We work hard, but we also have fun. We are a Low Stress Handling certified hospital and compassion and patience is a must. For the most part, we keep pets in the room with their owners so veterinary assistants/technicians need to be comfortable with time with clients, drawing blood in front of clients, low stress handling techniques, etc. We are starting the process of becoming AAHA accredited and are proud of our brand new facility and modern pet care principles! We believe that teamwork makes the dream work and are seeking individuals that can see themselves as long term part of our team and culture!
We strive for a workplace that demonstrates team culture, where people are honored, empowered and elevated for hard work, attention to detail, teamwork, business-based thinking and excellence in attitudes.
If you've read this far, thank you. If you get down to the nitty gritty of it, we love to: work hard but have some fun in the process. We are known to sing (poorly) while we work (especially in surgery). We celebrate work anniversaries with cake and our clients love to send us Crumbl cookies. We love what we do and we also want to go home at the end of the day. Law requires 30 minute lunch breaks but we get 45 minutes and we always get them. We love puppies and kittens, just like the rest of them but we also love when we make a difference in someone's life. We want to put a good "ripple" into the world (as the boss says). We offer a payment plan which can sometimes be cumbersome but also helps people who REALLY love their pets and are in a tight spot. We also have a non profit so that we can help clients in need, and we foster kittens from local shelters and rescues. We have the friendliest, most bubbly veterinary receptionist you've ever met and we legitimately want to make a difference in the world. If you think you'd like to be our friend, please apply!
