Full Job Description

Production Cutter / Patternmaker / Sample Maker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Cutter, Patternmaker & Sample Maker to join our fashion production team.

The ideal candidate is well-rounded and can take a garment from design concept to production-ready sample.

Responsibilities:

Create and modify patterns from sketches, samples, or measurements
Cut garments accurately for samples and production
Sew complete samples across a variety of garment types
Understand garment construction, fit, finishing, and production methods
Make pattern corrections and fit adjustments
Grade patterns into multiple sizes
Create and update tech packs and technical specifications
Work comfortably with computers and fashion-related software
Translate design ideas into production-ready garments
Troubleshoot construction and production issues
Work closely with the designer and sewing/production team
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality during production

Ideal Candidate:

Strong professional experience in patternmaking, cutting, and sewing
Team Player
Able to sew all types of garments, including dresses, jumpsuits, pants, jackets, tops, non-stretch garments, and more
Strong understanding of stretch fabrics and women’s apparel
Experience creating samples from start to finish
Tech pack and computer skills
Detail-oriented, fast, organized, and production-minded
Able to work independently and bring technical solutions to the team

This is an ideal position for someone who understands both the creative and technical sides of fashion and can help turn designs into production-ready garments.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
