Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team! In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates classes, tailor exercise routines to meet diverse client needs, and inspire individuals to achieve their fitness goals through expert guidance and motivation. Your passion for health and wellness, combined with your teaching skills, will help create a positive and empowering environment for all participants. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your expertise in Pilates while contributing to a vibrant community dedicated to physical well-being.

Duties

Lead group Pilates classes, demonstrating proper techniques and ensuring participant safety
Design and modify Pilates programs tailored to different skill levels and individual needs
Motivate clients through energetic coaching, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages progress
Provide clear demonstrations of exercises, ensuring correct body mechanics and movement execution
Monitor participants during classes, offering hands-on adjustments and feedback as needed
Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid readiness and manual handling procedures
Promote fitness services and programs to clients, encouraging ongoing participation and engagement

Requirements

Proven experience in Pilates instruction, with certification from a recognized fitness or Pilates organization
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to exercise instruction
Additional certifications in yoga, cycling, CrossFit, or sports coaching are advantageous
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse groups of clients
Demonstrated ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and provide effective coaching techniques
Knowledge of group fitness class management and customer service principles within the fitness industry
Physical fitness training experience including heavy lifting, manual handling, and demonstrating proper exercise routines
Valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification required for safety compliance
