About Us:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Part-Time Sr. HR Consultant to support our clients with various human resources functions. This role is ideal for an experienced (Generalist) HR professional looking for a flexible work arrangement while making a meaningful impact. The Sr. HR Consultant will provide expert guidance on compliance, employee relations, policies, and other HR needs tailored to each client’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide HR advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with state and federal labor laws.
Assist with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Support hiring and onboarding processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and orientation.
Develop and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and procedures in alignment with best practices.
Oversee benefits administration, leave of absence management, and payroll coordination as needed.
Conduct workplace investigations and recommend corrective actions.
Facilitate training sessions and employee development programs.
Perform HR audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
Offer guidance on compensation, compliance, and workforce planning.
Support clients with HR technology and process improvements.

Qualifications:

5+ years of HR experience in a generalist, consultant, or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple clients and HR projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with HR software and tools is a plus.
HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
