Job: Retail Solar Closer

Sunly Home is the solar provider behind Lowe's Home Improvement's solar program — available to customers in select locations across the country. That means you're not cold-knocking neighborhoods. You're working inside a Fortune 100 retailer that millions of homeowners already trust, engaging customers who came in with a project mindset.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced solar closer to join our retail program, focusing on engaging customers directly within retail stores. The ideal candidate will have a strong closing mindset, comfort in face-to-face interactions, and a passion for building success in a retail environment. This role offers the opportunity to generate retail appointments independently and contribute to the growth of our solar solutions through in-store customer engagement.

Responsibilities: Engage with customers in retail store settings to present and promote solar energy solutions effectively. Build rapport with potential clients, identify their needs, and tailor presentations to highlight the benefits of solar energy. Self-generate retail appointments by proactively connecting with store visitors and converting interest into scheduled consultations. Achieve sales targets through persuasive communication, product knowledge, and customer-focused service. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and strategies for increasing retail sales. Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively within retail environments. Track and report on customer interactions, appointments scheduled, and sales progress.

Qualifications: Proven experience in sales or closing roles, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers confidently in person. Self-motivated with a growth mindset and the ability to work independently to generate leads. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and handling multiple customer interactions daily. Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Knowledge of solar energy products and industry trends is a plus but not required.
