Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting various accounting functions across our organization. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a collaborative environment while contributing to the financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a passion for accuracy, and the ability to interpret complex financial data with confidence.

Duties

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Conduct detailed financial analysis including cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial report writing.
Requirements
Proven experience in accounting roles with a strong understanding of financial concepts including GAAP, accrual accounting, and double-entry bookkeeping.
Demonstrated proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks is essential.
Ability to perform bank reconciliations, account analysis, budget monitoring, and cash flow management efficiently.
Attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets accurately.
Effective communication skills.
Prior experience in public accounting or private sector finance is preferred but not required.
