Our company is on the lookout for an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder. This is a year long Contract job! As a Pipefitter/Combo Welder, you will play a crucial role in our welding operations, focusing on pipe welding, structural welding, and the fabrication of large industrial equipment. If you have a strong background in pipe welding/fitting and the ability to read blueprints, we want to hear from you! Must be able to pass a 6G TIG test on 2” Schedule 40 carbon pipe
Pipefitter/Pipe Welder Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality pipe welding, including TIG processes
- Conduct structural welding for the fabrication of large industrial equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper parameters and settings
- Inspect welds for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Pipefitter/Pipe Welder Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter
- Expertise in pipe welding techniques, including TIG processes
- Proficiency in structural welding for the fabrication of large industrial equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications
- Competency in setting up and operating welding equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality welds
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and protocols
