Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional care within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in skilled nursing, nursing home, and long term care, demonstrating exemplary leadership skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices, regulatory compliance, and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.

Working under a Director of Nursing.

Duties

Oversee nursing operations within the facility, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence in patient care. Working under a Director of Nursing.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care services, including hospice care and home health initiatives.
assist with managing shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels for all shifts.
Monitor patient health status and coordinate necessary interventions based on physiological knowledge.
Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for Medicare compliance.
Collaborate with the IDT team on the facility's risk program.

Experience

Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursing home or assisted living facility is essential.
Demonstrated ability to manage shift operations effectively while maintaining high standards of care.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with staff, patients, and families.
A valid RN license is required; additional certifications in leadership or specialized areas of nursing are advantageous.
