Full Job Description

The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the finance teams in providing accurate, complete, and timely financial information to management. This position will manage and direct a variety of finance functions and employees. The Accounting Manager must establish and improve accounting processes and controls.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for the success of the general ledger, accounts payable, and cash management functions.
Assist Finance Director with oversight of multiple finance areas.
Coordinate and manage the month-end close process through financial statement preparation and analysis.
Responsible for reconciliation and analysis of profit and loss and balance sheet accounts.
Design, implement, and monitor accounting and internal control systems to ensure transactions are properly recorded and assets are safeguarded.
Ensure compliance with sales tax requirements.

Required:

Extensive knowledge and skill gained through broad experiences in a field (or fields) which require a command of involved and diverse practices, precedents, theory, and principles. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
