Full Job Description

Kintsugi Behavioral is seeking a New Mexico board-approved Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical supervision to our Community Support Worker (CSW) team and to ensure our clinical documentation meets New Mexico Medicaid and Behavioral Health Services Division (BHSD) standards.

This is a fully remote, part-time contract role capped at approximately 5-6 hours biweekly. It is well suited to a licensed clinician with an established practice who wants a steady, low-hour supervisory engagement.

Responsibilities

- Facilitate a monthly group clinical supervision session with the CSW team via secure video, documenting the date, duration, participants, and content of each session.

- Review CSW progress notes and service documentation for compliance with New Mexico Medicaid and BHSD standards, including medical necessity, linkage to treatment plan goals, service date, duration and location, and signature requirements.

- Review and sign treatment plans, crisis plans, safety plans, and assessments completed by non-independently licensed and unlicensed staff, as required by the NM Behavioral Health Policy and Billing Manual.

- Provide written feedback to staff on documentation deficiencies and escalate recurring patterns to program leadership.

- Remain available for brief as-needed clinical consultation between scheduled sessions.

- Maintain supervision records that are readily available to supervisees and audit-ready for MCO and Health Care Authority review.

Required Qualifications

- Active, unrestricted New Mexico LCSW or LISW in good standing. LPCC, LMFT, LPAT, or licensed psychologist will also be considered.

- Current listing as a Board Approved Supervisor with the New Mexico Board of Social Work Examiners, or the equivalent roster for your practice board.

- Completion of a minimum 6-hour board-approved course in clinical supervision.

- Working knowledge of New Mexico Medicaid behavioral health documentation standards and Comprehensive Community Support Services (CCSS).

- Demonstrated experience supervising unlicensed or non-independently licensed behavioral health staff.

- Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-appropriate space for telesupervision.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a CCSS or comprehensive community support program.

- Experience preparing for Medicaid, MCO, or accreditation audits.

- Bilingual English/Spanish.

- Experience with rural, tribal, or border-region populations.
