Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Grinding Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC grinding machines to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will ensure the efficient transformation of raw materials into finished products through meticulous setup, calibration, and inspection. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machining equipment and contribute to high-quality manufacturing processes that drive our success.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC grinding machines to produce precision parts according to technical specifications and blueprints.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) to ensure accurate machining.
Program CNC grinding machines using specialized software to achieve desired dimensions and surface finishes.
Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on grinding equipment to maintain optimal performance.
Conduct quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks involving CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, CNC milling machines, lathes, stamping presses, and welding processes.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to machinery operation, crane handling, sheet metal fabrication, and electrical discharge machining.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC grinding machines in a manufacturing or machining environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in CNC programming and machine setup procedures.
Skilled in blueprint reading, GD&T interpretation, and the use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, electrical discharge machining (EDM), welding, stamping presses, CNC lathe operations, and CNC milling machines.
Ability to utilize hand tools and fabrication equipment effectively for tooling adjustments and assembly tasks.
Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during machining operations.
Experience with quality inspection techniques for sheet metal components and finished parts.
Valid certification or training in forklift operation and crane handling is a plus but not mandatory.
