Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and make a meaningful difference in patient care across diverse medical settings! As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will deliver exceptional nursing services, coordinate patient assessments, and implement treatment plans with enthusiasm and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your extensive skills in acute and chronic care, medical documentation, and patient advocacy. Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed history taking
Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, and other routes while adhering to aseptic techniques and safety protocols
Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, wound care, and ostomy care with precision and confidence
Coordinate care plans for patients with diverse needs including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, trauma medicine, and hospice & palliative medicine
Document patient information accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems like Epic or Cerner; ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
Provide patient education on health coaching, medication administration, nutrition, and discharge planning to promote optimal recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as hospitals (including Level I & II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and home care environments

Requirements

Valid RN license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards
Proven experience in critical care settings such as ICU or emergency room environments; trauma medicine experience preferred
Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic, Cerner or similar platforms
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation procedures
Hands-on experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, laboratory specimen collection/processing and infection control practices
Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately while demonstrating excellent patient care skills
Working knowledge of specialized areas such as dialysis, cardiac catheterization, neuro or spinal tap procedures is a plus
