- Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 annually (depending on knowledge and experience)
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., additional hours, as needed

Cassill Motors is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Auto Body Estimator to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and working closely with customers, insurance adjusters, and technicians to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:

- Inspect damaged vehicles to determine repair needs and extent of damage
- Prepare and present detailed and accurate estimates using industry-standard software (CCC One)
- Communicate with customers to explain estimates, repair processes, and timelines
- Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure claims are processed efficiently
- Work with technicians to verify parts and labor estimates are accurate and feasible
- Monitor the repair process to ensure timely and cost-effective completion
- Follow up with customers throughout the repair process and after delivery to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain organized records of estimates, work orders, and repair history
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
- Work Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and additional hours as needed to meet job expectations
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED, required
- 4+ years of experience in collision estimating or auto body repair
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, required.
- Technical training or certification in auto estimating, preferred
- I-CAR or ASE Certification highly desired
- Familiarity with OEM repair procedures
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
- Proficiency with using estimating software (e.g., CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex) and handheld devices
- Strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and industry standards
- Effective listening skills to accurately understand job needs
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vehicles in a timely manner
- Effective problem solving
- Ability to work professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively with all team members and management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to reliably commute to work and work the necessary hours to ensure job is accomplished timely and within quality standards
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk regularly up to 8 or more hours/day
- Steadily use wrists, hands, and fingers to handle, feel, and grip objects, tools, and other components to operate equipment and perform work, regularly
- Bend, stoop, kneel, twist, stretch, push, pull, crouch, crawl, and reach, regularly
- Talk effectively, hear/listen and understand, and smell, regularly
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision (distinguish colors), peripheral vision, depth perception, 3-dimensional vision (judge distances and spatial relationships), and the ability to adjust focus
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs., occasionally
- Capable of operating vehicles safely within and around the shop
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), as needed
Work Environment:
Work in an environment where extreme temperatures range seasonally from hot to cold, where conditions may be damp and/or wet, and concrete floors may be slippery in some areas. Can experience loud noises, vibration, and exposure to automotive fluids and fumes, as well as chemicals.
