Gray, Stefani & Mitvalsky, PLC is actively hiring a Litigation Paralegal to provide essential support to attorneys in the Cedar Rapids office. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful cases while collaborating closely with experienced legal professionals in a team-oriented environment.

Position Details
This is a full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling options Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct thorough research of medical records and documentation for case preparation
Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence for medical malpractice and family law matters
Coordinate with clients, medical professionals, and court personnel to gather necessary information
Maintain organized case files and track critical deadlines and court dates
Assist attorneys with trial preparation and hearing support

Required Requirements

Associate's Degree or relevant paralegal certificate
1-2 years of relevant legal support experience
Strong grasp of Math and English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation

Preferred Requirements

Preferred experience in researching medical records
Exposure or familiarity with Prolaw software or another billing software
