We're looking for an experienced residential remodeler to join our in-house team.

What You'll Be Doing
Our in-house installation team handles a variety of smaller residential remodeling projects, repairs, and service work.
Your work may include:
- Installing replacement windows
- Installing and repairing residential siding
- Bending and installing aluminum trim
- Building and repairing decks
- Exterior trim and finish work
- Diagnosing and completing exterior repairs
- Service calls
- Warranty and punch-list work
- Helping solve problems that come up on existing homes
Most larger projects are completed by our subcontractor crews. This position is important because you'll help us take care of the smaller projects and service work that require versatility, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
This Is Remodeling — Not New Construction
Existing homes aren't always square, level, or predictable.
We're looking for someone who understands that.
You need to be comfortable opening something up, figuring out what's actually going on, and determining the right way to fix it.
This is not an entry-level construction position or a general laborer position.
We're specifically looking for someone with hands-on experience working on existing residential homes.
Experience We're Looking For
You should have at least 2 years of residential remodeling or exterior installation experience.
Strong experience with replacement windows and/or residential siding is especially important.
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Replacement windows
- Vinyl siding
- LP® SmartSide
- Fiber cement siding
- Steel siding
- Aluminum trim and brake work
- Exterior finish carpentry
- Deck construction and repair
- Residential service and repair work
You don't have to be an expert at everything on this list.
We would rather hire someone who is excellent at their trade, dependable, and willing to learn than someone who checks every box but doesn't take pride in their work.
What We Expect From You
We need someone who can:

- Ask questions when something isn't right
- Take responsibility for the quality of their work
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Work well with a small team
- Safely use construction tools and equipment
- Lift and carry construction materials up to 75 lbs.
- Travel to different job sites throughout our service area
A valid driver's license is required.
Travel
Our work takes us to homes throughout Cedar Rapids and the surrounding Eastern Iowa area.
That means you'll travel to different job sites depending on where we're working.
We do not require overnight travel. You'll be home every night.

Compensation
$21–$25 per hour based on experience, skill, and ability.
We're willing to pay more for someone who brings more to the table.
If you can independently handle replacement windows, siding, aluminum trim, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer-facing service work, we want to hear about it.

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
