Full Job Description

We are changing the world...one flannel at a time. We’re a little non-traditional, a little on the edge, but that’s what makes us such a fun company to work for.

Motorcycles, skateboards, low-riders, hardcore/punk music, and flannels in our closets. That’s who we are and we were tired of flannels that didn’t fit well, wrinkled, shrunk, and faded. We worked hard and did it better and rolled out the first Dixxon flannel in 2013 and we haven’t looked back since! We continue to be all about growth and change!

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time HR Manager to join our team and lead our human resources initiatives with energy and precision. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance organizational effectiveness and ensure compliance across all HR functions and payroll. As a key driver of our people strategy, you will manage talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and payroll support all while fostering a positive workplace culture. Responsibilities

Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top candidates to meet organizational needs.
Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration and engagement from day one.
Handle employee relations issues with transparency and fairness, mediating conflicts and conducting misconduct investigations when necessary.
Administer benefits programs such as payroll, workers' compensation, FMLA, and regulatory compliance management to ensure legal adherence.
Develop and implement HR policies aligned with employment law in talent management while continuously improving HR processes through data analysis and process improvement strategies.
Manage performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback sessions, and development plans to support employee growth.

Requirements

Proven experience in leading the human resource function in a stand alone role.
Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations management, benefits administration, and performance evaluation.
Skilled in negotiation, conflict management, strategic planning, and change management to foster a collaborative work environment.
Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, and HR legal compliance standards.
Proficiency with HR systems such as isolved or similar platforms for data collection and analytics.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and influence senior leadership effectively.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while managing multiple priorities efficiently in a part-time capacity

SCHEDULE

Monday-Friday 5 hours per day, with a consistent schedule. This position may be eligible for some WFH hours after initial onboarding, but is not a remote role.
