Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Corporate Investment Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This role involves conducting comprehensive financial analysis, developing sophisticated investment models, and providing strategic insights to support corporate investment decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, expertise in financial software and data visualization tools, and a deep understanding of corporate finance principles. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, enhance financial planning processes, and support the organization’s growth initiatives through rigorous analysis and strategic recommendations.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed financial data analysis using advanced tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and VBA to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within investment portfolios.
Develop and maintain complex financial projection models to evaluate potential investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
Interpret financial statements and reports to assess company performance and inform investment strategies.
Utilize corporate accounting principles and cost accounting techniques to analyze profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data from ERP systems, Hyperion, and other financial software for comprehensive analysis.
Prepare clear and concise financial reports, presentations, and documentation for senior management and stakeholders.
Perform quantitative research on market conditions, industry trends, and governmental accounting standards to support strategic planning.
Assist in the development of business intelligence dashboards and data visualization tools to facilitate real-time decision-making.
Support budgeting processes by analyzing variances and forecasting future financial performance.
Engage in strategic planning sessions by providing insights derived from financial modeling and scenario analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Corporate Investment Analyst or similar role within investment banking or corporate finance environments.
Extensive proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), SQL databases, Tableau, Power BI, VBA programming, and other financial data analysis tools.
Strong understanding of financial concepts such as cash flow analysis, profit & loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement interpretation.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion), governmental accounting standards, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models for valuation, risk assessment, and scenario planning.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on quantitative research and data collection techniques.
Effective communication skills for preparing detailed reports and presenting findings clearly to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
