As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality cardiovascular diagnostic services, helping physicians diagnose and treat patients with cardiac conditions.
Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic echocardiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical expertise, exceptional patient care skills, and a commitment to delivering accurate diagnostic results in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What will you do:

Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms and related cardiac ultrasound procedures.
Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Assess cardiac anatomy, function, and hemodynamics using ultrasound technology.
Accurately document findings and ensure complete patient records.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any operational concerns.
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Provide compassionate care and education to patients and families.
Adhere to departmental, hospital, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualificiations:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI required within designated timeframe per facility policy.
Knowledge of echocardiographic techniques, anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
