Full Job Description

Kiawah Island Real Estate is seeking a professional, friendly, and organized Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients, visitors, agents, and team members. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone who enters or contacts our office.

The ideal candidate is personable, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while maintaining a warm and polished demeanor. This is a PART-TIME position primarily working weekends, with occasional weekday coverage as needed. Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information or direct inquiries to the appropriate team member.
Manage the reception area and maintain a professional, welcoming environment.
Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
Assist with scheduling, appointments, and general administrative tasks.
Provide administrative support to agents and office staff as needed.
Maintain organized files, documents, and office materials.
Assist with preparing meeting spaces and supporting office events or client meetings.
Monitor office supplies and communicate when replenishment is needed.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional, polished, and personable demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy office environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
Ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the team.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent service.
Weekend availability is required.
Flexibility to provide occasional weekday coverage is preferred.
Previous experience in real estate, hospitality, or a luxury customer-service environment is a plus.
