We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver/Stocker to join our team at Grounded In Charlotte. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise efficiently while ensuring that our store maintains a neat and attractive appearance. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Scheduled hours 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, documenting discrepancies as needed.
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks and move stock to the appropriate storage areas or sales floor.
- Organize and stock shelves, displays, and storage areas, ensuring that products are easy to see and access.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Perform inventory checks and help with stock rotation to reduce waste and ensure freshness.
- Collaborate with management and team members to optimize inventory control and product placement.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products and store layout.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve store operations and customer experience.
- Follow all safety and operational protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail, stock, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
