Full Job Description

We're not your typical tax firm. Yes, we love a good return, a clean workpaper, and a well-timed extension — but we're also obsessed with working smarter, not just harder. We're actively building out AI-powered tools to speed up research, automate the tedious stuff, and free up our team to focus on what actually matters: strategy, client relationships, and the kind of complex problem-solving that makes tax genuinely interesting (yes, we said it).

We're looking for a Tax Senior who's ready to roll up their sleeves on real client work and help shape how our firm uses AI going forward. If you've ever thought "there has to be a faster way to do this," you're exactly who we want in the room.

What You'll Do

Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and/or trust tax returns
Manage client relationships and serve as a go-to resource for tax planning and compliance questions
Research technical tax issues and translate them into clear, practical guidance
Mentor and review the work of junior staff
Partner with our team to pilot, test, and refine AI tools — think automated data extraction, AI-assisted research, workflow copilots, and smart review processes
Bring your own ideas to the table: if you've got a workflow that's screaming for automation, we want to hear about it
Stay current on tax law changes and help us think through how technology can keep us ahead of them, not just caught up

What You Bring

2–5+ years of public accounting tax experience
CPA license (or actively pursuing), or EA preferred
Strong technical knowledge across individual and business tax
A genuine curiosity about technology — you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be excited (not terrified) by the idea of AI tools becoming part of your daily workflow
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Comfort with ambiguity — we're building some of this as we go, and we want people who find that exciting rather than stressful
