Deli Case Clerk – Grab & Go Prep (AM & PM Shifts)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Location: 1210 Taft Hwy, Signal Mountain, TN 37377 (Just 10 minutes up the mountain from Red Bank!)
Schedules:
- AM Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
- PM Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Welcome to Pruett’s Market! We are a 3rd-generation, locally owned independent market right on Signal Mountain. Our Grab & Go wall and fresh Deli Case are fan favorites for our community, providing high-quality meats, cheeses, house-made meals, and snack packs to busy locals every day.

What You’ll Do
- Build & Stock the Grab & Go: Prep fresh packaged sandwiches, snack packs, sides, and specialty items to keep our display wall full, fresh, and visually appealing.
- Master the Deli Slicer: Safely and efficiently slice high-quality meats and cheeses to standard, keeping the deli case stocked and ready for customers.
- Maintain Display Standards: Keep the deli case impeccably clean, organized, fully stocked, and compliant with all food safety guidelines.
- Support the Team: Flex over to assist surrounding food service stations (like sandwich prep or customer service) during peak market hours.
- Rotate & Manage Stock: Monitor freshness, practice strict inventory rotation (FIFO), and ensure all items are labeled accurately.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Food service, grocery deli, or prep experience is a plus, but we provide full training on machine operation and food prep!
- Shift Availability: Ability to work either our 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (AM) or 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (PM) shifts.
- Safety & Detail: Comfort with safely operating kitchen machinery (deli slicers, knives) and a sharp eye for clean, appealing food presentation.
- Pace & Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift supplies, and stay organized in a lively environment.
- Team-First Attitude: Friendly, reliable, and ready to jump in where needed to support the rest of the culinary team.
