Full Job Description

Overview
Chattanooga Physical Therapy has opening an for a full time Physical Therapist. We are a PT/family owned clinic dedicated to providing the best patient care possible. Our PTs all hold doctorate degrees and only see patients one-on-one, insuring that they can provide the best care possible. This allows us to take the time needed to provide the care the patients need and allows you the time to really focus on patient care.

We have flexibility in our schedule to accommodate a regular 8 hour a day schedule or four 10 hour days allowing for a weekday off. Whichever will create the best work/life balance you are seeking.

We are committed to supporting your professional growth allowing one on one treatments allowing you time to determine and provide the best care for your patients. New grads are welcome to apply. Join us in delivering exceptional physical therapy services that make a real difference!

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions.
Develop and implement personalized care plans that incorporate physical therapy techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, therapeutic activities and exercise, gait training, modalities, and neuromuscular re-education.
Manage discharge planning processes to ensure seamless transitions.
Collaborate effectively with our Front Office Administrator and Physical Therapists.
Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, maintaining detailed records of progress and adjustments. We currently use Prompt Health EMR and require you to complete the provided training in using the system before beginning work.
Educate patients and caregivers on physical therapy exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance strategies tailored to their specific needs.
Participate in semi-monthly staff meetings to coordinate patient care.

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited post graduate program.
Licensed Physical Therapist with current registration in Tennessee.
Demonstrated experience in outpatient physical therapy.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive care plans that include discharge planning and patient education.
Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
Proficiency with manual therapy and dry needling preferred.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with our healthcare team and educate patients effectively. It is vital to our clinic to foster a place of belonging for our team and our patients.
