Full Job Description

We are a busy physical therapy clinic looking for an energetic individual to become our front desk receptionist. Bilingual (Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply. This is a Full-Time position Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Job Purpose:
Supports physical therapy care by providing scheduling and information services at the front desk of the clinic. Part-time position primarily Thursday's, with added requirement of providing coverage for PT Aide as needed.

Duties Include:

Greeting patients & visitors.

Answers multi-line telephone and managing day by day scheduling.

Handling administrative tasks. (Patient Intake Forms, Gathering New Patient Information)
Assists Physical Therapist & PT Aide with patient treatment if needed.
Maintains safe, clean organized working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Responsible for daily/weekly cleaning and maintenance.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

Create a Safe, Effective Environment through Verbal Communication, Listening and Teamwork.

*Proficiently Skilled with computers, telephones and other office electronics is a REQUIREMENT. Computer Skills Examples: scanning, data entry, attaching files, printing, faxing, taking payments.

Applicants need to have strong multitasking skills and be able to be on their feet if needed in the clinic. Frequent interruptions will happen in this position.
Proficient with time management and coordination.
Have reliable transportation.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required.
Experience with Microsoft programs and POS devices a plus.

Hours, Pay & Benefits:

The Receptionist position works Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm with a one-hour lunch. Pay is $17.13 per hour.
