Pay: $450.00 / week

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (20–24 hours/week)

We’re looking for a sharp, organized, and friendly Remote Business Operations Specialist to keep our virtual back office humming. If you love staying organized, wearing a few different hats, and keeping operations running like clockwork from the comfort of your home office, you’ll fit right in!

The Opportunity

This position kicks off as a part-time, fully remote role (20–24 hours/week on M/W/F)—offering fantastic flexibility and a steady schedule.

With time, this role is designed to transition into a full-time position. Once you move to full-time, you’ll unlock our benefits package.

What You’ll Be Doing

Keeping the Numbers Straight (Finance & Accounting)

Take ownership of billing, invoicing, and keeping collections on track.
Handle remote bank deposits, account reconciliations, and Accounts Payable (vendor bills, facility rents, licenses, etc.).
Keep an eye on cost controls and digital receipts, helping us plan smart budgets.
Team up with the Operations Team to audit customer accounts and keep our pricing up-to-date in our system (Symphony).

Supporting the Team (HR & Hiring)

Submit weekly payroll so everyone gets paid on time.
Welcome new team members! Handle digital onboarding, background checks, and setup (W-9s, payroll software, etc.).
Be the first friendly voice for job applicants—helping us screen candidates over the phone and spot top talent for our ops team.

Making Things Better (Operations & Client Love)

Spot ways to streamline our remote processes to help the team work smarter, not harder.
Build great relationships with our clients and vendors via phone and email—a friendly attitude goes a long way here!
Learn the ins and outs of Filta’s green kitchen services so you know our business inside and out.

Who You Are

Experienced: You have 1+ years in business management, virtual assistance, office administration, or a similar operational role.
QuickBooks Tech-Savvy: You know your way around QuickBooks and feel confident managing accounting tasks remotely.
Remote-Ready: You have a reliable home office setup, high-speed internet, and the self-discipline to manage your time effectively on M/W/F.
Detail-Oriented: Numbers, receipts, and processes are your jam. You don't let small details slip through the cracks.
A Great Communicator: You enjoy connecting with people virtually—whether it’s welcoming a new hire, chatting with a client, or checking in with our tech team.
