Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Staff Coordinator/Scheduler to join our team and drive operational excellence through effective staff planning and coordination. In this role, you will be the backbone of our workforce management, ensuring seamless scheduling, talent allocation, and communication across departments. Your proactive approach will help optimize staffing levels, support talent management initiatives, and maintain compliance with employment laws. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence team productivity and contribute to a positive work environment through strategic scheduling and resource allocation.

Responsibilities

Schedule caregivers base on clients needs, skills, availability and location
coordinate daily staffing assignments and maintain an accurate schdule
fill open shifts quickly due to calls -out, emergencies or staffing shortages
Ensure all shifts are covered with qualified caregivers
Monitor caregivers attendence and punctuality
Develop, implement, and manage staff schedules to meet operational demands while balancing employee availability and preferences.
Coordinate with hiring managers to facilitate talent acquisition activities, including interviewing, candidate sourcing, and onboarding processes.
Utilize talent management software and HR systems such as Workday, iCIMS, UltiPro, or PeopleSoft to track staffing data, employee records, and scheduling information.
Conduct internal recruiting efforts for high-volume recruitment needs, including campus recruitment campaigns and external recruiting initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with team members by providing timely updates on schedules, shift changes, and staffing needs through effective communication channels
Ensure compliance with employment law in talent management practices, including contracts, employee orientation, and labor law regulations.
Support employee relations by addressing scheduling conflicts promptly and facilitating employee evaluation processes related to staffing performance.
Maintain regular communication with clients and families regarding scheduling
Address clients concerns and communicate to managementSkills
Proven expertise in full cycle recruiting, HR sourcing, technical recruiting, and high-volume recruitment environments.
Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication skills for engaging candidates and managing stakeholder expectations.
Proficiency in talent management software
Deep understanding of employment & labor law applicable to talent acquisition and HR legal compliance.
Experience in HR systems like UltiPro or Workday for data management and reporting purposes.
Skilled in relationship management with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth staffing operations.
Home Healthcare Experience
Ability to research market trends and utilize lead generation techniques for continuous talent sourcing.
Knowledge of employee orientation programs, contracts administration, employee evaluation processes, and succession planning strategies.
