Job Description
We are seeking an experienced CNC Fabricator to set up and operate a hydraulic CNC press brake with CNC backgauge and a CNC plasma cutting table for sheet and light plate fabrication. Material thickness ranges from 16 gauge to 3/16", working exclusively with carbon steel and stainless steels. This role requires accurate setups, clean bends, and the ability to adjust programs to meet print requirements.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake for sheet and light plate
- Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting table
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
- Select tooling and set bend sequences
- Apply correct bend allowances and account for springback
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections
- Maintain quality, accuracy, and safe work practices
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years fabrication experience
- Proven CNC press brake and CNC plasma experience
- Experience working with carbon and stainless steels
- Experience with 16 ga to 3/16" material
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Able to work independently
Preferred
- CNC program editing or offline programming experience
- Job-shop or low-to-medium volume production background

Employment Structure
- This position begins as a temporary assignment through an approved staffing agency, with the opportunity for permanent hire based on performance.
- All candidates must be hired through a temporary staffing agency
- Temporary assignment duration: 90–120 days
- Successful candidates may be considered for permanent employment with BEI after the assignment period at a rate of $25.00 - $26.25 per hour
