Join our Accounts Payable team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payments across our organization. In this position, you'll manage invoice processing, support vendor relationships, resolve payment issues, and contribute to process improvements that keep our business running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Location: West Coast Region (Candidates must reside within this region)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST/MST

Compensation: The full range for this position is $19.25–$28.50/hr. The anticipated starting pay is $22.00–23.00/hr, determined by factors such as skills, experience, and organizational considerations. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

What You'll Do

Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently through established AP workflows and systems.
Manage assigned store locations, vendor accounts, and invoice queues to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time.
Review, validate, and update invoice information while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Reconcile vendor statements and proactively investigate discrepancies, credits, and payment issues.
Resolve payment allocation issues, account disputes, and outstanding balances to maintain positive vendor relationships.
Monitor and prioritize critical service invoices to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Work closely with vendors and internal partners to provide prompt, professional, and friendly support.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and reduce processing errors.
Communicate workload challenges, unusual items, and process improvement recommendations to leadership.
Support department projects and other business initiatives as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Prior experience working remote, required (1 year minimum)
1-2 years of Accounts Payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial operations experience.
Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment preferred.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to effectively prioritize work, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
A customer-service mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
