Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Child Care Provider and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families! In this vibrant role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Your enthusiasm and expertise will support their developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and compassionate caregiving. Duties

Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, ensuring their safety at all times
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, creativity, and social skills
Support toddlers and preschoolers with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices
Engage children in educational play and teaching activities that enhance their learning experiences
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and any concerns
Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately
Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health and safety standards

Skills

Proven experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
Strong activity planning skills to create engaging educational experiences for children
Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure immediate response to emergencies
Excellent child supervision abilities combined with behavior management techniques
Effective communication skills for parent interactions and team collaboration
Classroom or daycare experience demonstrating reliable caregiving and nurturing qualities
Familiarity with mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements in child welfare
