Location: On-site in Chicago, IL. This is an in-office role for attorneys who want to be fully immersed in the team, the litigation process, and the day-to-day pace of a busy plaintiff PI practice.

Note: Must be licensed and in good standing with the Illinois Bar. This role is best suited for someone with 0–4 years of experience who wants to handle a high-volume plaintiff personal injury caseload and grow into a true trial attorney. Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Job Description

Manage a high-volume caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through resolution
Handle litigation tasks including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and case strategy
Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties
Negotiate settlements and help drive cases toward strong outcomes
Assist with trial preparation and gain meaningful exposure to trial work
Work closely with firm leadership while building the ability to independently manage your own cases
Help contribute to a fast-paced, high-accountability plaintiff PI practice

Qualifications

0–4 years of personal injury experience, or a strong interest in plaintiff personal injury litigation
Active Illinois Bar license and good standing required
Strong organization and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines in a high-volume environment
Strong communication skills with clients and opposing counsel
Litigation, deposition, courtroom, or trial prep exposure is a plus
Spanish language skills are a plus
