Full Job Description

Codilis & Associates, P.C. represents creditors in Foreclosure, Bankruptcy and Real Estate related matters. We are current seeking a full-time Mail Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for ensuring all necessary mail is processed thoroughly, timely and accurately. Responsible for the delivery of inter-office documents and delivery of mail to the post office. Assists in travel to Cook County (Daley Center and City Hall) as needed. Other locations may be requested as necessary.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma; degree preferred
Valid drivers license
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and able to quickly adapt to change and/or changing priorities
Strong organizational skills
Attention to details and procedures
Capable of handling multiple tasks
Problem solver
***Special Note: The Mail Clerk drives to the post office (just a few miles from office) you would use your own car and would be eligible for mileage reimbursement.
The clerk part of the role requires that the candidate posses a good driving record. When going to the Daley Center/City Hall the company car is typically used.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long period of time – eight hour shift.
Must be able to walk throughout the office delivering or picking up stacks of paper/documents/mail weighing up to 30 lbs.
Must be capable of loading and unloading multiple bins of mail in and out of a vehicle to and drop off to the post office/other office buildings.
Must be capable of lifting a 50lb box of paper repeatedly throughout the day as well as individual reams of paper.
Must be able to bend and stoop to retrieve the paper out of the copier constantly throughout the day as well as load paper into the machine – and moving 50 lb boxes of paper.
Must be able to push up to 300lb of paper on a cart throughout the office.
Must have a reliable vehicle to drive to and from the post office as well as a good driving record.
