Full Job Description

Job Description:

MicroLink Devices, a manufacturer of solar cells and transistors for wireless communications, is seeking to fill a 1st Shift Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician position to maintain and support its state-of-the-art computerized production and quality control equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of epitaxial growth reactors and all associated equipment.
Assisting semiconductor production technicians as needed
Handling semiconductor wafers and operating computerized production and quality control equipment.
Responsible for maintaining and repairing spare equipment and maintaining parts inventory.
Responsible for Hazardous material handling.
Must be available to work on 1st shift (5:30am to 2pm).

Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with tool maintenance in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, robotics, pneumatics, and control systems.
Experience with high vacuum tools preferred.
Associates degree or higher in technical field preferred.
Hazardous materials/waste handling
Basic computer skills are required.
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams, manuals, work instructions

Candidate must possess the following attributes:

Capable of working on multiple tasks and projects.
Strong work ethic, time management, and record keeping skills.
Highly detail oriented and self-motivated.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Flexibility and willingness to learn.
Willing to work weekends and nights if needed.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Must be eligible to work in the US, no sponsorship provided for this position.
Job offer will be contingent upon completing a successful limited background investigation.
