Full Job Description

Assistant Manager

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting and working directly with the Community Manager with oversight of the day to day operations of the property while providing a high level of customer service to all current and future residents. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary from time to time to meet the needs of the Property and Residents.

Essential Responsibilities

Answering the telephone, greeting, and assisting visitors to the management office.
Maintaining resident files/data
Processing rent payments
Assisting the Manager with the collection of delinquent rent payments
Assisting the Manager with all tasks and follow-up relating to property inspections
Assisting the Manager with oversight of employees and vendors alike
Assisting the Manager with creating and delivering correspondence.
Performing lease and systems audits as they pertain to the community.
Coordinating leasing activities including interviewing applicants, showing homes, processing applications and updating marketing reports.
Maintain confidentiality of information.
Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
Perform other duties as requested by Management.
Must be available to work Saturdays.

Qualifications

Minimum 2+ years' experience in property management, leasing or related field.
Strong resident relations skills/Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of individuals
Must be able to organize priorities effectively and have strong attention to detail
Strong multi-tasking skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong computer proficiency with ability to use G-Suite, Word, Excel, Rental Software,
Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
