JOB
Essential Job Functions: Lead operator of a Gradall excavator used to grade roadside drainage ditches; serves as a working supervisor; directs a crew engaged in the maintenance of the City’s storm water drainage system; coordinates the tasks of field personnel in support of Gradall operations; transports personnel and equipment to and from job sites; practices and enforces safety regulations.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position requires 100% on-site work. Works outside in all kinds of weather including extreme cold, heat and temperature swings; exposed to extreme and constant noise, dust, dirt and traffic hazards. Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Must be available to work extended hours as needed. Subject to 24 hour call out. Position considered essential during emergency situations.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
This position requires 100% on-site work. Must possess a valid Class A-CDL or B-CDL driver’s license with a good driving record. Other state valid Driver’s License equivalent to Texas Class A-CDL or B-CDL with a good driving record will be considered. Texas state law requires within 30 days of residency, you must possess a valid Texas driver’s license. Applicant selected for hire will be subject to a background investigation and drug/alcohol screen test.
