Job Description

Mayflower Medical Group is looking for a Credentialing Coordinator to become a part of our Credentialing Team. We are currently maintaining the credentialing and re-credentialing applications for 20+ physicians. The perfect candidate would have previous experience in physician credentialing, with excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

Essential Job Duties:

Coordinate and maintain the Credentialing management database. Update Payer Credentialing applications and forms.
Create and Maintain Providers CAQH Profiles
Assist providers to become contracted with different Payers, including Medicare, Medi-cal, PPO's and HMO's.
Maintain Payer Credentialing forms. Undertake periodic audits of all forms for accuracy and changes, as well as Payer process flow.
Help to develop and design innovative tools, features, and work flows to improve Credentialing
Coordinate with the Payer to ensure that all Credentialing requirements are met.
Submit Credentialing forms and applications to Payers as needed. Follow-up on submitted applications with Payers or Practice/Client.
Establish records and reports of all data and documents on behalf of Practice/Client
Coordinate and monitor management of Credentialing data and documents.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
Ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external interactions
Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with a variety of internal and external constituents.
MUST HAVE credentialing knowledge and familiarity with industry recognized standards
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office programs
MUST HAVE excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
MUST BE confident, creative, self-motivated and enthusiastic

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous credentialing experience with a minimum of one-year experience
