Full Job Description

Job Description: Office Clerk (Part-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a perfect opportunity to learn at an entry level about real estate investment and property management, you will report directly to and will maintain consistent communication with the CEO for coordination of all job tasks. The position will uphold a high standard of ethics, promoting a feeling of general good will and rapport with business associates. Must be willing to take on various job assignments and is flexible with new tasks as they come. A positive “can do” attitude is a must!

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Office Administration

Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support daily office operations.
Maintain and organize office files, records, and documents.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and office activities.
Ensure office supplies and administrative resources are properly maintained.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to emails and inquiries.
Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.

Data Entry and Record Management

Enter, update, and maintain accurate records and databases.
Prepare, file, and retrieve documents as needed.
Assist in maintaining tenant, property, and vendor records.

Mail Processing

Open all mail, scan, and email as attachments and / or save files to shared drive as appropriate
Sort mail between bills, notices, and rent checks
Scan and save maintenance receipts by month and by property.

Qualifications

Written and spoken English language proficiency
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and emails
Must be well organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Must be able to work at the company office in La Jolla Monday through Friday
Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Compensation

Starting at $17.75 per hour
Part-time employment, 2-3 days per week (16-20 hours per week)
