Full Job Description

Company Overview:
ShipCentral is a rapidly growing order fulfillment and logistics company that values quality at every stage of our operations. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Support Specialist to join our team, working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and maintain our high standards of quality control.

Job Summary:
The Quality Support Specialist works closely with the Quality Manager to aid the Quality Department. Ensures cGMP,FDA, DHEA regulations are implemented and followed for the entire company.

Key Responsibilities:

Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control programs designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with the Quality Manager.
Able to dictate quality assurance parameters in the areas of: packing materials, finished goods, in house process and warehousing.
Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Confer with marketing and sales departments to define client requirements and expectations.
Manage activities such as audits, regulatory agency inspections or product recalls.
Provide responses to regulatory agencies regarding product information or issues.
Investigate product customer complaints and prepare documentation and submissions to appropriate regulatory agencies as needed.
Review customer labels and in-house templates to ensure they are in compliance.
Store and file customer labels properly into its proper folder.
Communicate with external partners regarding labeling-related issues, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
Develop, review, and maintain SOPs to ensure consistent and compliant operations across the organization
Conduct annual review of SOPs to ensure documents are updated to conform with regulations
Conduct training of completed SOPs and ensure employee training records are up to date.
Develop and implement training materials for newly created SOPs.
Clear understanding of 21 CFR 111, 21 CFR 117, 21 CFR 101 Food Labeling, Pharmaceutical
Coordinate and conduct disposals both manual and trough compactor
Coordinates with donation centers to ensure only client-approved donated products are received and accepted.

Required Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience within the industry
Understands FDA, cGMP and USDA regulations, DHEA
Understanding of HACCP principles and food safety practices
Ability to use computers and programs associated with the Quality Department
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to multitask
